Hoppy New Year!!
Get it!? Because I replaced Happy with
Hoppy because..well..you get it!? |
After a few batches of tweaking and changing my On The Loose IPA I am going back to an oldie and bestie: The Racer 5 Clone I call Speed Racer. This is still hands-down the best IPA I've ever brewed and the one I plan to take forward, tweak and replace the old On The Loose IPA. Up tomorrow, 12 gallons of hoppy goodness. Enjoy Speed Racer and apologies for the egregious pun!

I'm switching up the finishing hops just a bit:
ReplyDelete1) Moving up 20 min and 10 min to 10 min and flameout.
2) Going to add in 1oz each of Amarillo and Centennial at flameout.
So hops should look like:
1 oz Columbus First Wort Hop
1 oz each Columbus and Cascade at 10 mins
2 oz each Cascade and Columbus at flameout
1 oz each of Amarillo and Centennial at flameout
