Clusterf*!k IPA: A clusterfuck is often referred to in climbing when you get that nice new rope and are so ready to run out to the crag that you don't take the time to properly undo the factory coil.
You get to the bottom of the climb, dump the rope on the ground and begin flaking it out. Before you know it, your shiny new rope is a snarl of tangles and inexplicable knots that lead you to a stream of muttering, cursing and general lack of wahoo.

This was kind of the feeling I had yesterday when I went to pick up ingredients for a new IPA recipe only to find that Amarillo and Centennial have apparently become endangered species this year and that there was a run on Cascade that wiped the store out. Thoughts of my shiny new recipe began to snarl and knot, muttering and cursing began.

Thankfully, John down at Hop To It had some good recommendations for some new hops and so we see the birth of the Clusterfuck IPA. Ahtanum as a sub for Amarillo and Cascade and a healthy dose of Citra will push this IPA into a new direction.
